zumba! and pictures!

Today was a day of unexpected surprises...double donuts, ice cream...

But really, this morning I had to go get bloodwork done, so I had catching up to do as far as getting my energy back up to deal with the kids...by the time the day was done, one kid wasn't going on the field trip this week and my patience was really low.

Had a mini-conflict with my "boss" today that I don't really feel like talking about...lessons learned everyday, and I've realized that there are certain things I just won't accept. We may all FINALLY be able to meet as a group and talk about things face-to-face without all of the typical miscommunication and conflict tomorrow morning. My fingers are crossed.

I left my keys in the house, so I had to go by dad's...which means...ZUMBA! My stepmom goes to Zumba Mondays and Wednesdays at a Catholic church in our neighborhood and I went with her. It kicked my butt in a great way. I might go more often, as soon as  my business seminars end.

My fellow intern/teacher, Jon, has been taking pictures from Freedom Schools since the beginning, and now that we're Facebook friends, I figure I should share:

Jon! My fellow teacher for our Level 1 class. He's pretty awesome.

All my fellow co-workers (minus the "boss"). =)

my 1st field trip: the insectarium.

Level 1 kids! AHHHHHH!

HA!

note Jon's Ghana T-shirt. I knew he was cool.

my 1st round of dance class with Level 1. otherwise known as an epic fail. =/

can you tell they wore me out?
