I am so happy! Well, at least about "suburbia."
I had my first group meet-up last night, and it went pretty well. We talked about ourselves, moved, and did some stuff as a group (of course, I loved the individual sharing better). I'm so excited that my friends/dancers are so excited and willing to participate. It makes me feel like I may be a dance composer after all. Hopefully, I can reach them and the audience as well as Bill T. Jones did in Still/Here.
I feel like we're growing together. Now, hopefully Slam will feel the same way about it.
