There's so much stuff going on in my life...apparently I have a high tolerance for stress, because I'm still functioning, but that's another story for my closest friends...
The point is, I was at work, shelving books down in the dance library basement, when I heard this song ("Back to Manhattan" by Norah Jones--I'd just downloaded her cd to my zune)...and I just instantly connected to it and started moving, based on my emotions/the emotions of the song...it turned into a grief/emotion/sadness movement study based on a mixture of just the basic positions people (I) go to when I'm stressed/crying/breaking down, and more "dance" movement. It's highly emotional (like, I just re-studied it in my room and ended up feeling that ball of emotion in my stomach/tears in my eyes)...
Maybe this'll be part of my Dance Lab final project...
